I'm thinking that I'm so left behind with all of the books. New ones are keep coming. Not nice. 

Hopefully, around Christmas, I'll have enough time to catch up. But for now, let's see what's gonna be added to my pile from the upcoming year. 

You know what?! All of the books mentioned below are coming out in January. That's how you start the new year.

1. King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo.

Publication Date: January 29th, 2019 

That's mine auto-buy author. Grishaverse is my favorite book world so there's that too. 

Can you even imagine how awesome a book about Nikolai will be?! How many quotes to highlight will be inside of it? The laughter and the adventure? 

Well, one thing is sure - I cannot wait for this book to come out. 

2. Circle of Shadows by Evelyn Skye.

Publication Date: January 22nd, 2019 

The Crown's Games duology was great. Her style is really light and the story interesting that you don't know when you've finished it. I expect nothing less from this one as well. Also, I hope there is as much food as there was in the other series. 

It's about brother and sister - marked by the gods to be trained in magic and the fighting art so they can protect their kingdom. They want to prove themselves but in a kingdom free of violence it's difficult to make their mark. Until one day they encounter a strange camp ... 

3. Slayer by Kiersten White. 

Publication Date: January 8th, 2019 

This series is a spin-off and takes place in the same world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer after Buffy’s time when a new Slayer is chosen. 

I don't know about you but I'm all in. So excited to read this one. I don't have any words. 

4. The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi.

Publication Date: January 15th, 2019 

I loved Aru Shah and the End of Time, and this one sounds a little Six of Crow-ish. We have a group of different people that are going on a heist. Well, I'm sold. I can get over that is placed in the past. At least is in Paris so...

5. A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer. 

Publication Date: January 29th, 2019

Not the biggest fan of The Beauty and The Beast but a big one of retellings in general. 

We have a boy that is cursed, and a girl whose life is anything but easy. 

It's simple: Fall in love, break the curse. Break the curse, save the kingdom. 

So did you see ?! There are 3 books that are coming on the 29th of January. The first month of the new year is going to be a long one. Too much waiting.

what are some books coming out in 2019 that you're excited about? 

1. Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amy Kaufman. 

Okay, I want to hide somewhere because of that. It stays unread for 2 years and a half at this very moment. Literally. 

I've been trying to get to it but there are other books that are coming and are making me read them first. 

By the end of the next year, I'll finish the trilogy. Pinky promise. 

2. Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. 

But let's start laughing now. Shame, shame, shame. I know. 

But the reason is that I don't want it to end. Still, when King of Scars comes out I had to be finished with this one. 

3.The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. 

I can feel it.

Anyway, back to this beautiful book. In my defense (pathetic!) I've read 50 pages of that book and then ... 

Well, you can see what happened. 

4. City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty.

I feel so bad that I haven't read this book yet because I've been hearing so many good things about it. And the cover is just *heart eyes* 

For sure I'm going to read it in the next few months as well. Another promise here. 

5. Vicious by V.E.Shwab.

This one I've ordered in September so it's not so big of a deal. 

I love V.E.Schwab's writing so much and her books are so bloodily great that cannot wait to get to this one. 

As you can see the shame has covered this post. I know I'm not the only one in this. We've been there and some of us are still crawling through our tbr pile. Will we see it end soon? Probably not. Will we give up? No way.

След много дълги размисли и четене на различни ревюта реших и аз да споделя моето мнение за третата книга от поредицата "Двор от рози и бодли". И с това да приключа с нея веднъж завинаги. 

ВНИМАНИЕ: 

Ако не ви харесват отрицателните ревюта за книга, която ви харесва - по-добре не продължавайте.

Моля, не се опитвайте да ми променяте мнението. Няма да се получи! 

• Неста - тя ми беше любимата от трите сестри, но и нейният образ замина на кино. През цялото време се правеше на интересна и не ѝ пукаше за нищо, после пък чувства имаше.
• Тамлин - този пък! Сара наистина ни кара да го мразим. Всъщност се държа точно както се очаква от един човек, предаден по такъв начин да действа.  
• сюжет - започва страхотно книгата, така и очаквах да е (сега идва редът на "но-то"), после имаме 400 страници дето просто ни заливат с някакви неща. Информацията от тях можеше да се представи много по-сбито и интересно без да се губи излишно време. Но не, трябваше да гледаме опропастявеното на библиотеката и опитите за секс и романтични сцени. 

Е, това е като цяло мнението ми за третата част от книтата, даже спестих доста отрицателни думи и наречия. Нека да е сбито и ясно. 

Не мисля да продължавам с поредицата занапред. Пожелавам всичко най-хубаво, защото Сара умее да пише и знае как да държи в напрежение, просто не е моята история, нито герои.

Има толкова много книги, които се надценяват или се възхваляват от всички, а феновете и картинките за тях са безброй много. Но има и такива, които кротко си стоято в ъгъла и чакат някой да ги вземе и прочете.

Днешната тема на Топ 5 е именно за онези книги, които са хубави, пък не са известни сред читателите. 

Нека да започваме ...

1. Последните оцелели - Сюзан Бет Пфефър.
Спомням си какви предубеждения имах за нея, когато ми беше пратена. Със започването ѝ те се разбиха на пух и прах. Толкова много ми хареса, че дори това беше най-лестното ревю за писане в живота ми. Е, не във всяка книга одобрявам докрай изборите на героите, можеше и по-добре да са. Но антиутопичната обстановка ми е фаворит и е истинско приключение от начало до край.
Усещам, че българите сякаш стоят на страна от нея, а не трябва, тъй като наистина си заслужава.

2. The Crown's Game - Evelyn Skye.
Прочетох я едва наскоро, но това не пречи да не я добавя, защото тя е именно за този списък. Поне аз не виждам и чувам хората да говорят за нея много, много. А, тя е чудесна. Става въпрос за историческо фентъзи, но невероятна магия, притежавана от точно определен човек. Е, в случая са двама и от там започва интригата в историята. Кулминацията ме просълзи. Невероятен обрат. Това, за което се използват силите им обаче е повече от удивително. Ако още не сте я прочели - мисля, че е време.

3. The Chemical Garden - Lauren DeStefano. 
Гледам един цитат от точно тази поредица да обикаля фейсбука на българите. Но едва ли повечето са я чели. Не е хич известна, поне според мен, а трябва. Може би, защото времето на този тип книги мина, но ако сте почитатели на антиутопиите, то е задължително да я прочетете. Говорила съм няколко пъти за нея в блога, а има и ревю. Накратко: Напредването в технологиите се е върнало към хората и вместо да живеят по-дълго, те са останали с продължителност на живота: 20 за жените, 25 - за мъжете. А, когато Рейн бива отвлечена и продадена като жена, която трябва да роди наследство нанякой, който не познава, а още по-малко харесва - нещата не могат да се объркат повече. И да добавя, че тя има само 4 години живот още.

4. Dorothy Must Die - Danielle Paige.
Знаете ли колко малко картинки намирам за поредицата в Tumblr? Броят се на пръстите на ръцете ми. А, светът е прекрасен. Или поне за мен. Това че е нагоре с краката още повече ми харесва, защото Дороти е един от най-добрите злодеи. Пълен психопат. Напълно типично, всъщност. Още една книга, която имам чувството, че хората заобикалят по пътя си.

5. Ридание и Балада - Маги Стийвотър.
Разбира се, че ще включа и първите ми книги, които прочетох по собствено желание. Дотогава не бях чела и фентъзи.
Имам усещането, че много хора игнорират книгите на авторката. Защо?! Тези две книги ми дадоха достатъчно емоции и безсънни нощи за студеното ми сърце. Авторката има чудесен стил и интересни идеи.

You know how is it with some books, on your way to a hyped book, you found them hidden in the corner patiently waiting for somebody to pick them up because they are too shy to do it themselves. And when you choose them BOOM magic happens.  

Today's Top 5 Wednesday topic is exactly about those books that are gems not known well by the public. Basically, they're so rare that if you missed them you might miss a lot. It's about books in your favorite genre but I'm gonna do it for books from different genres. Let's start ... 

1. Last Survivors series by Susan Beth Pfeffer. 

That's the first book that comes to my mind when it comes about this kind of books. Maybe some of the character's choices in the story need an upgrade but the rest of it is so captivating. I couldn't leave the book. I was glued to it. It's about a time when a meteor knocks the Moon and move it a little away from her orbit, closer to the Earth. Then the "fun" starts. Tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic ash that hides the Sun. And a family that does everything to survives.
I feel like not so many people know about it, or are ignoring it. Big mistake.

2. The Crown's Game series by Evelyn Skye.

I feel like this needs more attention to how absolutely wonderful the story is made. It's amazing. It's a historical fantasy, but so much more cool and "modern". We have these abilities in the two of characters that are used to create incredible things and many bakeries. So food also takes place in the book.

3.The Chemical Garden trilogy by Lauren DeStefano.

The only Dystopian series I love. It was a love from the first page. The idea is original and unique. Karma gets to humankind and makes it live til 25 years of age for the men and 20 for the women. So guess what is like to know when you're gonna die. And somebody decides you to kidnap you and sell you as a bribe so his son can have a legacy. Oh, and all the continents are nowhere to be found, we have only a little part of North America that still lives.
The series is not famous even around the Dystopian genre.Maybe those kind of books are out of style anymore but for the people that still want to read something like it - is perfect or anybody that's want something different.

4. Dorothy Must Die series by Danielle Paige. 

This series needs way more edits on Tumblr than it has right now. We are talking about Oz here the most wonderful place of all in the literature world, or at least for me. But everything is upside down in it. Good is wicked, Wicked is good. Dorothy is a psychotic villain that rules from the throne and as the title says needs to be killed. Only if it was as easy to do it...

Again another book that get's kinda ignored by the people. I don't know why but for the rest of us who read it and like it, it's a treasure.

5. "Lament" and "Ballad" by Maggie Stiefvater.
Of course I'm going to include my first fantasy series which is not finished. I need that third book even though the second one has a perfect ending, and doesn't need anything to get a conclusion, but still.
Anyway, another feeling of mine tells me that Stiefvater's book are getting kinda ignored or people just like to go around them when they meet them. Why?! The author has an amazing style and her ideas are great as well.

People say that is easier to talk about something that you're not a fan of because is easier to come up with arguments for it. And is true, at least for me. 

To not tell you why I don't like something will be easier for me than to list you why I like it. And my thesis and arguments would be so much better. If I like something - I just do but if I don't and you ask me why - prepare yourself for a long discussion. I'm not going to stop anytime soon. 

Today's topic for Top 5 Wednesday is about books we didn't particularly like or were just okay, but we freely and gladly will discuss them. 

I don't want you to think that I hate all of these books that I've chosen. I can't have strong emotions like this. So, chill! :) 

1. ACOTAR series - Sarah J. Maas. 

Most of my friends or people that know me a little bit know that I have a love-hate relationship with this series. And it's started with the first book (even though I gave ACOMAF 5 stars, but that's another story). But is one of my favorite books to talk about especially since most people love it to death. I'd listen to what you need to say about it without interrupting you and accept your point of view. But if you start telling me why I need to change my opinion on it or read it again to see "what I've got wrong" you'll get on the wrong train, my friend. It's a discussion, not prove yourself right, and belittle the other one. That's especially for this series. 

2. Paper Princess - Erin Watt. 

Another book that I wish I haven't read but then again another great topic for a conversation, because is so problematic. Or that's what I think. 

3. Lover Eternal - J. R. Ward. 

Since I'm going with the books that I kinda hate let's keep it that way.
Listen, for this one I have a problem only with the lead female character (don't remember her name) everything else is okay. But for me, characters are really important to like a book. So if you want to talk about the brothers and Rage's poor love choice - I'm in. 

4. The Selection Series - Kiera Cass.

Now that I've finished the whole series (all 5 books) - one big OKAY. That's it. But they can be a great topic for so many conversations. I mean we're meeting not one, or two characters each of whom has a different personality. If you want to talk about America's nerves cracking hesitation on who to pick as the love of her life, the boys who were competing for Eadlyn's heart and were so flat and not well described that you don't even know for who the main character is talking about before the name of this person to be mentioned.

5. Holding Up the Universe - Jennifer Niven. 

What I felt with this book on the first couple of pages I haven't experience with any other. The moment you want to slap the character with its own book. Unfortunately is not heavy enough so it wouldn't hurt as much as I like to. The point of the story was great!! .. but then we have Libby *rolling my eyes* Why she was made this way? Am I the only one who had a problem with her over the top confidence?! I hope not. This is another book that you can have me talking on and on. I won't judge you, or anything if your opinion is different. Another book full of things that can be discussed.

If you have found a favorite of yours on this list please don't take it personally. I have a problem with the book not with you. There is nothing wrong with like what I don't, and vice versa.

Тъй като това е първият ми пост за годината - Честита Нова година!!! Пожелавам на всички много здраве и щастие, защото това е най-важното, а останалото стига да искате и сами можете да постигнете! :)

За човек, който чете във всеки свободен момент книга, а през останалото време чака с нетърпение да дойде този момент ще си помислите, че помня почти всичко, което се е случило от дадена история. Ами, не. 

Да, мога да ви кажа по-важни събития от дадени книги или имена на герои, но не искайте такава информация за всички. Естествено, когато взема някоя вече прочетена и започна отгоре- отгоре да я чета, ще се сетя половина и повече от нещата. Не смятам, че е толкова важно да се помни всеки малък детайл, ако книгата ти е направила впечатление с нещо, разбира се, че ще го помниш за дълъг период от време. Но има и такива, които просто след време и да не искаш, забравяш малко.

А, сега да започнем със списъка на леко забравените от мен...

1. Адски устройства - Касандра Клеър.

Уил Херондейл завинаги може и да си остане в сърцето ми и при всяко негово споменаване очите ми да се насълзяват, но това далеч не означава, че помня изцяло трилогията. Знам как започва поредицата. Проблемът идва с втората книга - "Принц с часовников механизъм", на която помня само края. През останалото време е почти бяло. А, на третата си изревах очита на епилога, така че друго не искам и да помня. Идва ми в повече само като се сетя, не искам да се напрягам допълнително с повече информация.

2. Мечът на лятото - Рик Риърдън. 

Харесвам норвежка митология. Харесвам и книгата. Знам героите, които участват и какви са, горе-долу мога да се опитав да оформя и общата идея. И това е. Край. Ако искате да си говорите с мен за събитията от книгата, ще си водите монолог. Или от време на време, като се досетя мога да се включвам, но вие ще сте водещите в разговора.

3. "Dorothy Must Die" and "The Wicked Will Rise" by Danielle Paige.

Тези две книги ги изчетох преди 2 години за отрицателно време и сега не мога да отнеса отделните събития към съответната книга, в която са се случили. Хаос е малко. А, повечето, които ме следят знаят, че обожавам Оз и всичко свързано с него. Е, това не пречи да забравям случките от книгите.

4. Рубиненочервено - Керстин Гиър. 

Искате катко резюме на книгата? Ще ви кажа. Не задълбочавайте повече от това обаче, че няма нищо да разберете от мен. Книгата не ми се понрави толкова и не смятам за важно да помня за нея повече от главната и необходима информация. Момиче поже да пътува във времето. Среща момче. Край.

5. Къде си, Аляска? - Джон Грийн. 

Не ме питайте даже и за какво се разказва в книгата, защото и на това не мога да отговоря. Сигурно от всички за тази книга информацията, която мога да възпроизведа е най-малко, да не кажа никаква.

You think that because I like a particular book (standalon or series) I'd be better at remembering scenes from it for a long period of time. Well, no. I'm so far away from it that you cannot see my memory for books even somewhere in the distance.

It's not so bad though but the more I'm trying to recall things from the books I've read there is nothing. The moment I pick up a book to reread is another story tho. Memories are falling over me like an avalanche. 

So today in the spirit of Top 5 Wednesday I'm going to list 5 books that I cannot remember so well even if my life depends on it. 

1. "The Infernal Devices" by Cassandra Clare.

For a person whose eyes are watering every time Will Herondale is mention in a book you'd think that I have an idea of the action that is going on in this series. Guess what?! I don't. Still have a memory of how it started but the worst is the secon book aka "Clockwork Prince". From it I can only tell you how it ends but don't ask me about the middle. And the third one - I've cried my eyes out at that Epilogue so don't even get me started on it. 

2. "The Sword of Summer" by Rick Riordan.

I love Norse mythology and I'm a fan of this series but the again don't ask me what is going on in this book. I don't have an answer. I have tiny bits of what is all about but little events that occured in it - there is no way to be found. At least I remember the characters which is a big thing. Kinda. 

3. "Dorothy Must Die" and "The Wicked Will Rise" by Danielle Paige.

Well, I've read those two years ago. I love them. Oz is the best. And now the problem is that there are so many stuff that happened in each of the books that I can't tell in which on what happened. Who dies, where were we, etc. 

4. "Ruby red" by Kerstin Gier. 

If you ask me what this books is about you'll receive a good answer. What is happenning in it? Do I remember something? Keep those questions to yourself. I didn't like it so it wasn't important to me to remember whatever information about it. 

5. "Looking for Alaska" by John Green.

My first "date" wtih John Green. Didn't go very well. Out of the 5 my memory on this one is completely gone. No names, no purpose of the story, no synopsis, not anything. 

I don't know what is worse not remembering what is happening in the books I've read or not remembering the books that I forgot
